Since I started Urso (in September), usually the next BM is that

bile shade of green. I am not so much concerned as wondering what it means.

Does this mean I am passing more bile from my system?

It usually means your

stool has passed through your large intestine too fast to change the color to

brown. Here’s a good web page on green stool. http://ibdcrohns.about.com/cs/otherdiseases/a/greenstool.htm

Here’s another web

page (This one blew my mind – who’d have thunk there would be a web

site called green stool .com??) I

mean honestly, was this person sitting at the breakfast table one morning thinking

– today I’m going to start a web site titled green stool? Wonder what was in his coffee….. (never mind!) http://www.greenstool.com/green.htm

Please, never be afraid

to ask ANY question, that’s what we’re here for!

ee,

It sounds like your frequency of BMs is alot higher then your frequemcy for taking URSO? I take two doses of URSO a day. I don't usually cosider a BM as before or after, their all after the last dose (within 12 hours of)

Ian

Sorry!Since I started Urso (in September), usually the next BM is that bileshade of green. I am not so much concerned as wondering what it means.Does this mean I am passing more bile from my system? And would that

be a good thing, as it isn't building up in my liver? Or is it justsome benign side effect that means nothing? I didn't have much luckGoogling this.ee -- Ian Cribb P.Eng.

Hi,I have a j-pouch and I'm on URSO and I sometimes get green stool (and sometimes other colors as well, such as orange). I don't worry about it too much, although it's weird.Marie
