Guest guest
Okay, here's another question. For you ladies (and men) who have experienced hairloss along with premature graying and who color your hair....do you find that coloring worsens hairloss or that it is not cause of further loss??? It's bad enough to have thinning hair, but, if I didn't color it regularly...that would further depress me. I thought I read awhile back on some hairloss website that coloring was even suggested as a way to " plump " up the hair shaft and was considered okay. Anyone??? Also, recommendations on specific brands of haircolor?? One better than another??? Kathy
Guest guest
I color mine regularly, as I also believe hypo causes premature gray (actually WHITE in my case!) hair I let my color grow out last spring.. OUCH.. never again! LOL I had to switch to a different shade of color with the white hair. When I was younger I used ash shades to mute some of the red in my hair. I am a natural red head. Now I have to use gold colors to avoid the drabs and greens! I do not think coloring affects the growth of our hair, though it is hard on the condition, so use a GOOD conditioner and do not wash as often.I now go about 3 days in between washing my hair and used to wash it daily. but with hypo you will find unless you sweat it doesn't need it that much. *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat?
