Yes. This sounds exactly what this dr was saying to me! I am going to just

self treat. This doctor was so irritating! Treated me like a little girl, who

didn't know what I was talking about!

Should I go ahead and start the Isocort (then the Armour) or wait until after I

see him again (to get the bloodwork and find out about the sonogram) which could

be two weeks? What if there is a nodule, would taking the Armour or Isocort

cause more trouble?

Have you had adrenal testing? If not I would start with the Armour, and hold off

in the Isocort till you know if you need it. Start no more than a grain a day

split into 2 doses then go up every 2-3 weeks by no more than 1/2 grain. When

you get to 3 grains slow down increases to 1/4 grain every 4-6 weeks. You will

know if you need adrenal support fairly quickly by hyper symptoms when you are

still on a very low dose of Armour.

No, I've not had my adrenals tested, but so many of my symptoms lean more toward

I would NOT take adrenal support without testing first. It can make you SICKER!

I had horrid problems trying that myself... Start the Thyroid and you will know

if you are having adrenal problems. It is never too late to start the support if

you need it.
