I have been tested for the Auto-antibodies for thyroid disease and mine are high, but my thyroid tests always come back within normal limits. Having the auto-antibodies shows I have the potential for thyroid (I have two out of three sisters with thyroid disease). It would make sense since I have such horrible fatigue. Cathy Hi Cathy, If you've read my info signature, you see that I have Papillary Thyroid Cancer. I was diagnosed in 1979 and had the Thyroid removed. It had already spread to my lungs, so I have radioactive iodine treatments every time it recurs. I'm the only one in my family with Thyroid Cancer, but I have relatives on both sides of the family with Thyroid disease. {{{Hugs}}} Jacqui Jacqui McCallister Age: 39 Dx'd with FMS: 1995, but symptoms since 1984 Additional Illnesses: Papillary Thyroid Cancer spread to lungs, Intra-Occular Migraines, TMJ, Allergies, Periodontitis, Mitral Valve Prolapse, IBS, Osteoarthritis, MPS and CFS, Congenital Hip Dysplasia, Osteopenia, Bunions, Heel Spur, Light/Smell/Sound Sensitivities, Motion Sickness, Sleep Problems, Depression, Anxiety Location: Ridgeview, West Virginia USA Divorced, no kids.
