Guest guest
Bless you Lynne, How frightening that must be for you. It reminds me of a book I am currently reading called " Spiritwalker: Messages From the Future " by Wesselman. It's quite an interesting book, and in the first twenty or so pages it gets into what's called sleep paralysis. The book is considered non-fiction and is written by a scientist who has a similar experience, altho his is quite pleasant, even tho he was confused and frightened by it initially. What I find most interesting about the phenomenon he describes is that he was a non-spiritual " straight from the book " scientist who believed only what can be proved scientifically. Consequently he was not really " open " to believe anything else. His experiences changed his life, both scientifically and otherwise--for the better. I have no idea whether your experience was a dream, OBE, or whatever -- but you would probably find this book interesting, and it might make you less fearful. And, as others have said, repeated lack of sleep can do a number on all of us. Surround yourself with pleasant things and people who are non-toxic and supportive. That helps a lot in relaxing the body to help encourage sleep. Take care. I hope your fears are set at ease soon. Bev
