Hi Sue,

Did you tell both Docs that you are taking 2 different meds

with Tylenol? Which one cuts the pain the best, Lortab or Darvocet?

Can’t you pick one by testing each individually? If both docs know

you take both then they mean it’s ok to take both I think. I wouldn’t

want to get rid of one of the Dr’s. They both have good attributes.

I

called both doctors to tell them I thought I should be off the drugs that have

tylenol in them...they both were giving me something that had Tylenol in

it...Pain doctor was giving me lortab, and Rheumy was giving me darvocet..so

after a week of calling and calling they both finally got the bloodwork results

saying my enzymes were high....they both said I could stay on the drugs they

had prescribed!! My levels weren't that high! However my pain doctor doesn't

want me on two narcotics and was mad that the rheumy had me on darvocet..but

rheumy said if it helps me then it helps me...when I was talking to the rheumys

nurse she said I should perhaps think of just have one doctor instead of having

two....that way there would be no problems about my medication...I see my pain

clinic doctor on the 20th of July and the rheumy appointment I had moved up to

the 24th of July...but who do I pick? I really think my rheumy is more into

what is wrong with me...he is a specialist for lupus and had written books on

it and FM, my pain doctor has been very close to me and always sends me out for

tests right away when I say I feel bad....he is responsible for them finding

the neuropathy and ultimately sending me to the rheumy that found the lupus/mcdt...so

what do you think? You all have to decide for me! Lol Sue
