Guest guest
Hi , I'm in Mt. Prospect, IL! I feel the same way about the weather. Although when the humidity is high, its a bit uncomfortable, but I much more prefer the summer to the winter. The winters are horrible.... all my pain and fatigue and depression is worse during the winter. I feel much better when the weather is nicer, the sun is shining and the temps warmer. I wouldn't want to move...I wouldn't know where to go. My sister is in CA, but I don't think I could move there. Most of my family and all my friends are here and I have deep roots, so I just muddle through the winters here. I tend to 'hibernate' during the winter. Guest guest
I feel the best when the weather is warm and sunny, but with low humidity. Winter is the worst for me. Cold and damp. Ugghh! But high temps coupled with high humidity is almost as bad. I wish this disease wasn't so weather affected. It's not like I'm going to get that many perfect days in a row. If I did, I could probably stop taking pain killers. Take care,
Guest guest
Went out side today just to check the mail and came back in with a headache. The heat hit me like a sledge hammer. so I turned up the air-conditioning, took a nap, got up and cut off as much of my hair as a could. I have been cutting it since I was 15 and I find, for me anyhow, short hair really helps keep some of the pain away. I look nicer with bangs, but I can't stand hair brushing against my face. Guest guest
, I'm with you on the warm weather. Now that it has warmed up, I have more energy, love sitting in the back yard and listening to the birds and watching the squirrels. jim in Virginia > I'm just the opposite - the heat and humidity are like a sauna > for my > poor little body. Guest guest
I am another one who just can't tolerate hot and humid weather. I find that I get more tired and it happens much more easily than during cool or even cold weather. I hurt more and get intense migraines if I have to be outside when it's above 80 degrees. I also find myself getting very irritable at the slightest little thing. -Mareth, who's dreading the next three hot-as-Hades months in Ohio ~*~*~*~*~*~ The greatest achievement of the human spirit is to live up to one's opportunities, and to make the most of one's resources. -- Vauvenargues _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp.
