Hi Jen,:)

I wish you so much luck getting the potty training

accomplished......its been a longgg time since I've done that. I

think I was in a fog then too since I don't really remember it all

that well.

Everyone is so nice here....its too bad we all don't live in the

same town. ;) We could all have mushy brains together!

Bestest wishes,

Dawn

I'm just the opposite - the heat and humidity are like a sauna for my

poor little body. I get rid of my aches and pains only when it is

humid and above 80. Bad scene since we live in Chicagoland. My

husband is working on a deal to work from home so we could move to

Florida (Miami area).

Hope the day is good for all,

Hi ,

I'm in Mt. Prospect, IL!

I feel the same way about the weather. Although when the humidity is

high, its a bit uncomfortable, but I much more prefer the summer to the

winter. The winters are horrible.... all my pain and fatigue and

depression is worse during the winter. I feel much better when the

weather is nicer, the sun is shining and the temps warmer.

I wouldn't want to move...I wouldn't know where to go. My sister is in

CA, but I don't think I could move there. Most of my family and all my

friends are here and I have deep roots, so I just muddle through the

winters here. I tend to 'hibernate' during the winter.

Koala-t hugs,

Cathy

I have fibromyalgia and I know how hard it can be being sick and dealing with

special children. I work for an company that work with the population. I am a

TSS (Therapeutic Staff Support), i work in the schools and my client is a

challenging case. It took me 3 months to get my basically nonverbal client to

say " please " and " thank you " and i almost did cartwheels down the hall. Even

though i don't know exactly how it feels and such, i have the idea. When you

think you have been banging your head off the wall, they do something totally

unexpected and makes all the trouble, stress and the pain you feel for being

stressed out worth it. We have a autistic program and i have work with the

clients. They are truly special. I know what i said is not entirely according

the group, i just wanted to let you know, i completely understand. I would not

trade my job for anything but my fibromyalgia is making it difficult. Good luck

to you and the potty training!

I feel the best when the weather is warm and sunny, but with low

humidity. Winter is the worst for me. Cold and damp. Ugghh! But high

temps coupled with high humidity is almost as bad. I wish this

disease wasn't so weather affected. It's not like I'm going to get

that many perfect days in a row. If I did, I could probably stop

taking pain killers.

Take care,

I am another one who just can't tolerate hot and humid weather. I find that

I get more tired and it happens much more easily than during cool or even

cold weather. I hurt more and get intense migraines if I have to be outside

when it's above 80 degrees. I also find myself getting very irritable at

the slightest little thing.

Hmmmm hair cutting therapy huh? Mine is to my waist....wonder if

that would help? Not that I prefer long hair....just too tired to do

anything with it....so in a ponytail it goes. :) Hope your feeling

better today. The weather here has cooled off some thankgoodness.

I wish we could skip summer altogether. I wonder if there is

anywhere in the world that its spring or autumn temps all the year

through?

I've been there and done that. I used to live in Mississippi. The summer was

horrible, but the weather here in Ohio ranks up there with Mississippi. It has

been very hot and humid. At the time I lived down there I liked the heat. I was

always freezing. I used to sleep with an electric blanket during the summer. Now

i " m the complete opposite. I hate going outside when it's hot & humid. It

doesn't do anything positive for me. Well, I just thought I'd let you know that

Ohio's summers can be just as bad as the south.

.. Well, I just thought I'd let you know that Ohio's summers can be just as

I know. I have lived in Ohio. Without air-conditioning. I shudder to think

about it now. I had both of my children in the middle of the summer. In

those days they kept you in the hospital for a week. I remember sleeping at

the bottom of the bed where there was a window and I kept it open hoping for

some cook air.
