I feel like a student once again...I've been accepted by Penn State

University to complete my degree, no small feat at (age, ahem, 54)

I've been waiting by the mailbox for weeks...memories of high school,

and finally got my acceptance letter.

I will be studying using distance learning and on line streaming

video lectures. You know, I can't wait to get back to school. I

know that this may put on strain on my " down time " to recharge from

the long work days....but I think it is worth it. I really want to

finish my Bachelor's degree that I started in 1966....can you

believe, Penn State actually accepted some of those ancient credits.

I guess English literature, Pyschology, Art history etc. don't age

badly.

I just had to share some good news........

P.S. To the dear, sweet, person who recommended " Blue Stuff " , bless

you. what a find. It may not work for everybody,,,,but it does

wonders for me and my DSO. I have shared the small sample packets

that come with the order and have more converts.

Congratulations Pam! Good for you for going back to school! In spite

of this stupid disease, we only live once, and so we need to make

sure we get those things done that we really want to accomplish. I

too would like one day to be able to go back to school and finish my

degree. For right now, I'll settle for living vicariously through

you. :-) So lots of updates please.

Take care,

What will your degree be in?

that the decision is only a week out!

Congratulations Pam, WHAT GREAT NEWS!! I am so very excited for you! Back in '99

I graduated with an associates degree in Human Servies. I started back to school

in the Winter semester in '01 but had to drop out because well, I felt like

crap. I hope to get back soon. I want to get my BA in Education then work in a

high school as a counsler. Or, I may be driven another way by the time I get

back. Do you plan starting in the Fall? Keep us posted!!
