Guest guest
Today I had my exam with the opthamologist. First the optometrist came in and did all the basics and noticed that I have some issues with my peripheral vision. Then the doctor (Dr Brown) came in and did an exam. He kept shining lights in my eyes and I guess it pissed my brain off because I had an " episode " sitting in the chair. I could hear him talking and felt him touch my arm but was shaking and my eyes were fluttering. It was scary and embarrassing but that's what happens when I have these " seizure like episodes " so it's good that he at least saw it. Now I am going to go see a neuro-opthamologist. He wasn't too sure what to do or say other than I have no papilledema, which is good. That appointment is next week. The pain stuff is going good. I start tapering my meds today so I am nervous about it but also excited. Trying to remain positive.
