Guest guest
Hi sweetie, glad to hear your home and in one piece. Sorry to hear about your fall but glad that it was minor and that you had Reesey with you and that you were not alone. Glad to hear you had a good time, its about time you had some enjoyment. How is your breathing doing? What are the game plans for the next few weeks? What docs are you seeing soon, and are any more tests scheduled? Well I will let you go and I will catch you up on me another day - you need your rest. Just know I am happy your home and know I missed ya bunches... Take care sweetie and know I love you... Guest guest
Deanna, We did fine. The boys were pretty good, and helped out a lot. We spent time at the beach, me in hats and long sleeves, of course, and I even managed to walk the full length of Russian Gulch Beach and the width searching for shells. Got a few nice ones, too. I see the Cardio and Primary docs in the next two weeks. They want to increase the heart med, Coreg, and see how I'm doing fluid wise. I only put on one pound of fluid over the five day trip, and considering that I ate more than at home, and some of it was in restaurants where you can't tell how much salt is being used, I think that is a good record for a first outing. Will have to get back into the groove now that we are at home, again. I feel pretty good, except for the usual joint, muscle, and headache pains that my Dad called "Aunt Agatha's Traveling Pains". Those are always with us, aren't they? I have a couple of beauteous bruises on my knees, and my back and shoulders are sore and banged up, but I didn't break anything, or sprain anything important, so I count myself lucky. Poor Reesey is only twelve, and is little and wiry. I am six feet tall and still quite heavy, even with the recent weight loss, so he was in a real pickle trying to figure out how to help me get up off the dirt. He even went all the way to camp in the dark to fetch me a chair so I could use it to pull myself up off the ground. He is terrified of the dark, but he didn't even hesitate. Quite a brave little guy, I think. Randy was off at the public phone calling his girlfriend, so he missed all the excitement. Reese walked with me back to camp, sat close to me for almost an hour until we both stopped shaking, and then we went to bed. The boys' tents were next to my big one, so Reesey talked to me from his tent until Randy came to camp, and then we all went to sleep. Reesey, however, had bad dreams about me dying, again. Poor kid. Really scared the liver out of him, my falling like that. I wish you all could have seen the sunsets over the Pacific Ocean. Colorful, peaceful, and unforgett- able, as well as impossible to adequately describe. If I can make my Mac do it, I'll send you some of the pics that Randy took with his digital camera. He even took one of me in all my campfire glory, so I'll include it, if I can. How are you doing? When I left, you were so sick you were staying with your mother, was it? I don't remember exactly, but whoever it was is a trained nurse? Sure hope you are recovering, and you are breathing easier. Take care, honey. Loving hugs, MM
