Hi all. Got in around Noon today, since I woke up at 4 a.m. and decided to get on the road early. We did fine, mostly. I had a fall Tuesday night on the trail from the bathroom to our campsite, but mostly just injured my dignity. LOL I am sore in a few places that normally don't hurt all that much, as I landed on my knees and butt...don't ask me how I managed to hit both places on the same fall, but I did. I guess I bounced
Guest guest
a C., I am doing ok. Took a nap right after I looked at all that email I wasn't supposed to get. Geez, there were more than 500 emails, and I put myself on NO EMAIL before we left. Hate to think what it would have been if I hadn't done that. LOL The boys did fine, but had to be reminded about their promises to help me when I NEEDED help, not when it was convenient for them. But, for the most part, they did very well. Randy has trouble remembering why he promised to do something, so had to be reminded more often, but things got done, and we had a good time. For me, camping near the sea, in the redwoods, is as close to heaven as I'm likely to get in this life. I've really missed it the last three years since I've been too sick to go. Sure glad I didn't sell the gear. Guess being stubbornly sentimental about things like that pays off sometimes. Hope all is well at your house. More later. Love you, MM
