It's the thyroid problem that is disturbing your hormone situation. It adversly affects adrenal fucntion, which can result for some people in high testosterone. It can take about a year or so after getting thryoid right for the hair to return to normal. So, be patient. Once hairs become very thick and dark, they seem to want to stay that way. If you are worried about the testosterone, you can try what others suggested. Also, grapefruit is said to help lower testosterone.
