Guest guest
What a difference a day makes. Although Tom is still having abdominal pain from the peritonitis, they are controlling it better today. It appears that the strategy of holding off on the anti-rejection drugs for a couple of doses may be working also. His drainage has slowed considerably. Hopefully that means that the bile leaks are sealing themselves. Tom was able to take a full lap around the unit today. It was a good step forward, but pretty exhausting. Hopefully he will be on solid foods for dinner tonight. All in all he seems to be moving in the right direction. Tom's donor is still having a rough go of it. He had a good day yesterday, but today he is dealing with some nausea and vomiting. They gave him medication that helped, but please continue to pray for this wonderful man. I hate to see him having to go through so much pain as a result of his incredible gift to Tom.
