Guest guest
HI again all. Thanks for all your responses to my message. I'm glad to be part of this group. My Fibromyalgia has not been very bad at all for the past few years. I've still had sleep problems, but the pain really started up again a few weeks ago, and now it's to the point where I can hardly get through a day at work. I actually stayed home today. I went to my Doctor yesterday, and he put me on Trazadone. (I don't know if I spelled that right or not.) Is anyone else on Trazadone? If so, has it worked for you? Last night was my first time taking it. I also wanted to share that along with my Fibromyalgia, I am also blind. I have been blind since birth. I have a beautiful yellow lab guide dog, and her name is Leska. She is what keeps me going most of the time. The Fibromyalgia seems to do weird stuff to my eyes. The Rheumatologist I used to go too told me once he wondered if the Fibromyalgia and my blindness are connected. We'll probably never know for sure, but personally, I think he may be right. Also, I had Gastric Bypass surgery about 16 months ago. I've lost about 110 pounds in that time. I still have a ways to go, but it has really helped me to get some of my weight off, and I'm so glad I had the surgery. Well, I guess I have rambled long enough. Take care all. Guest guest
Wow Tammie, Very impressive. Losing 110 pounds, no matter how you do it, is quite a feat. I too am having arough time at work right now. I really wish I had stayed home today, but the thought of how my boss reacts to that made me go in. I don't want to deal with the guilt trip tomorrow. So here I sit, feeling like I should just lie down on the floor, and hoping time will be nice and speed up for me. I hope we both feel better tomorrow. Oh, welcome to the group, and hi to Leska. :-) Take care,
