One way to measure thyroid hormone in natural thyroid is to measure the amount of Iodine in it. Since T4 has 4 iodine molecules attached and T3 has 3 iodine molecules attached, measuring Iodine can tell you how much thyroid hormone is in there. The problem with measuring only iodine is that sometimes the thyroid hormone can be damaged and the iodine will still be there, but the thyroid is no good. This rarely happens today, because more care is used in processing. But, they did not tell you anything about pill binders. Thyroid-S pills are so tiny, that I don't think they have many binders.
