Guest guest
Our office received the following public information request. Mr. asked me to forward it to you all for your comments. He would be greatly appreciative if you can carbon copy him directly at ellis84@... on any response you make to his query. He would like both technical information and anecdotal information about difficulties you have encountered in conducting outreach to and other activities with workers who live on their employers' property. Thank you, Tequila Please forward to the general counsel: I am doing research for the Bureau of the Census on state or federal laws that may deny Census workers access to certain premises. Do you know of laws (or perhaps customs) in the U.S. that would bar Census counters from certain migrant labor sites, dormitories, camps, changing rooms, etc.? Are there any laws that might guarantee their rights of access to private property for collecting Census data? Thanks very much.
