Does this make sense? If Botox can work for facial lines/deadening

nerve endings, why could it not work on neck muscles? Mine start

to " spaz " just as soon as I sit down to write!!

Hi !!

My doctor recommended Botox injections for my neck. It did seem to make sense

and I was almost ready to do it when I found out about Prolotherapy injections

and I did that instead.

It is an option, I was more comfortable with injecting a sugar solution that a

toxin.

Although I'm not a big fan of Botox, but I did hear lately that it is

being used to treat the pain of migraine headaches.

Botox is not exactly a toxin....it is botchulisim (sp?) but it is

purified.

I always wondered how people could have a toxin from deceased people

injected into their face - (YUCK! ) just to look younger! But I guess

if they can use it for something good, as in the treatment of pain, I

guess its ok.

Koala-t hugs,

Cathy
