Guest guest
~ I have had chronic headaches & migraines since I was in the 2nd grade. The majority of my headaches/migraines start at the base of my skull and works it's way up to either one side or the other. When I have migraines I also have pain behind my eyes, depends on which side my pain is on, also sensitivity to light & sound, and severe upset stomach. I have more migraines than headaches. I pray for headaches when I feel the pain starting in my neck, but they are usually migraines. They have gotten progressivly worse as I have gotten older. When I was younger I had more headaches, then back in '99 I started having more migraines. That was before I started having problems with fibro. Most of my doctors agree that it was attributed to several falls when I was 1 and 6. I am so thank-ful that 'Imitrex' is available. It is a Godsend. I have nasal spray's & the injection. Since I've been on Inderal & Neurontin I've had less migraines, but I still have about 5 a month. Sometimes more. Rarely less. Well, I hope everyone is feel pretty good tonight. You all are in my thoughts & prayers. ~progressivelyspray ---------------------------------

Guest guest
Headaches! Boy do I have them. In fact, that is what sent me to the doctor when I was diagnosed w/fibro. I have the 'achy's and tiredness' but the headaches are the worst! Location: all over my head. More pain in the frontal region, but also behind my ears & up the back of my neck. Severity: Generally I can 'function' with some normallcy although I can't concentrate as well as I should & I have a very short fuse. Some days I go around alternating ice packs & heat on the my neck...don't know if it really helps or not, but at least I feel like I am doing something. The meds they have had me on for about 5 years have quit working (naturally). Visual disturbance: Only in the aspect that when I have a severe headache, I have difficulty reading, things seem blurry. Sunlight is especially bad when driving. Anyone have any suggestions on getting rid of these things? Jeanette > Do you have headaches? They range from mild to migraines, and from one spot on my head, to my forehead, side of my head, or the base of my skull. I'm just curious, why do you think they might be wrong in what they've diagnosed you with? Surely, they have a set of standards that they went by in diagnosing you with this. I don't have visual disturbances. I know I'm not much help for you. Darcy

Guest guest
Hello ! I have headaches that come from my trigger points in my neck, shoulders and base of the skull. My headaches start at the base of the skull and on the side of the head. It just gets worse from there. I have had one continous headache for 4.5 years. It gets better when the trigger points get better. This sounds very different from what you have, maybe? The muscle tightness can definetly cause headaches and headaches can cause brain fog. I have vision problems due to a closed head injury. I did vision therapy and it helped a lot. Hope this helps, , CO In a message dated Mon, 17 Jun 2002 5:17:22 PM Eastern Standard Time, samiam997@... writes: > Hi all, > Do you have headaches?
