Guest guest
How do you know if you hace cholangitis if you don't run fevers? I am not being silly here. I have never had a temp in my life and have had some pretty serious infections in the past. When that happend though it was pretty obvious as I was post op and had not to be graphic, BLUE drainage. I am having a hard time convincing the Doctors that I am sick, but I feel horrible right now. I have upper right uad paon, pain in my back, I itch really bad and generally feel like some one has sucked all my energy out. I am not hungery. I do not have naseua this time. These symptoms keep happenming to me and no one knows what they are, but they say it's not cholanigits because I don't have a FEVER. Any suggestions. Guest guest
Hi Dawn, Have you had liver function tests recently? Maybe your blood values are going up, but you don’t have an active infection right now. That’s where I’m sitting at the current time. You get enough poisons in your system, you are going to feel really crummy. Nita I am having a hard time convincing the Doctors that I am sick, but I feel horrible right now. Guest guest
They checked them 1 month ago but I was feeling as Okay as I get then. I have so many things going on and It could just be the holiday hoopla getting to me, but I really don't feel well. Since they figured out I am hypoglycemic I have been eating pretty good. I have not started the Low Oxalate they DIet they want me on yet as the book has not come in that tells me how to do it. I am planning on trying to piece this part together next week. I really feel like I did when I had psuedonemous (the blue drainage) the last time. I just can't seem to get any one in the medical community to get off this fever thing. I am 40 years old and have never had a temp ove 99 degrees, I really doubt that I am going to start running them now!!! If this keeps up I will be in the ER before the weekend is over.!! Guest guest
Hi Dawn, I agree with Nita about getting LFT again. My doctor told me that if I became really fatigued – he said that I would know – that I was to call him ASAP. The fatigue along with not being hungry and your other symptoms point to PSC. You may not have cholangitis and maybe not an infection, but whenever my LFT numbers were up I had most of your symptoms. Joe

Guest guest
I get Cholangitis attacks from time to time where no fever is present. All I feel is a overall yuckiness and pain radiating sometimes from my front to my back and it gets so intense I can't stand it....When it gets to a 8 on the pain scale I am usually on my way to the ER room.
