Guest guest
Hi Jen, Yep, my hands break out, burn like crazy, crack open, etc...if I get them in cleaning products, detergent, certain kinds of soaps. I thought I was the only person whose hands broke out and burned from handling hamburger, pickles, tomatoes...not sure what else. I have an added problem because wearing gloves breaks me out too, all the way up my wrists. I've tried lots of lotions and creams and they set my skin on fire! My hands even have a reaction when someone holds my hand, worse in winter than summer. I'm also sensitive to odors...can't be anywhere near toilet bowl cleaner. All the cleaning products bother me to a certain extent. Certain foods smell so strong to me, I feel sick to my stomach. Air freshener, alot of perfumes (especially anything vanilla) . My sister is crazy about candles and incense...ACK! I also have a terrible reaction to cigarettes. My mom, sister and niece all smoke and I can't be in the same room with them. I don't remember who said they need to live in a bubble...well I feel the same way. My sister threatens to tie me to the roof of the car when she takes me places because she smokes in her car lol. Ok, I've rambled enough and still probably haven't covered it all. {{{Hugs}}} Jacqui Jacqui McCallister Age: 39 Dx'd with FMS: 1995, but symptoms since 1984 Approved for SSI: June 18, 2002 Additional Illnesses: Papillary Thyroid Cancer spread to lungs, Intra-Ocular Migraines, TMJ, Allergies, Periodontitis, Mitral Valve Prolapse, IBS, Osteoarthritis, MPS and CFS, Congenital Hip Dysplasia, Osteopenia, Bunions, Heel Spur, Light/Smell/Sound Sensitivities, Motion Sickness, Sleep Problems, Depression, Anxiety Location: Ridgeview, West Virginia USA Divorced, no kids.
