Guest guest
These tests were done on 12/26/00 by my then-gp, in response to some DEFINITE concerns, such as lack of libido, lack of lubrication, exhaustion, irregular heavy periods, etc. My last LMP was 12/22 of that year, so it was day 5 of the cycle. I used to ovulate on about day 10-11 of my cycle, which was 31-32 days, on average. That's not the " norm " of two weeks before a period starts. These were blood tests. I will be getting testing done fairly soon; I'm wondering if levels, even if " in range " tend to be not necessarily " normal?? " (like for thyroid) And how the ratio of estrogen/progesterone should be? Estradiol serum: 84 follicular phase: 39-189 Mid-cycle phase: 94-508 luteal phase: 48-309 LH: 5.0 follicular phase: 1.8-96. mid-cycle phase: 8.5-76.2 luteal phase: 0.5-46.9 FSH: 6.3 (when retested in January 04, it was 5) follicular phase: 4-13 mid-cycle phase: 5-22 luteal phase: 2-13 Progesterone-serum: 0.4 follicular phase: 0.2-2.1 luteal phase: 1.5-25.9 Testosterone-total: 19 range: 15-75 Re the testosterone: my doc said that the level was fine; that I was probably just mad at my husband about something...! One for the dumb docs' comments. I've since read (Vliet) that levels should be a minimum of 40? I'm checking the book out again. If anyone can offer interpretations, I'd appreciate it; this is, unfortunately, somewhat new territory for me, as far as " norms, " etc. , Wisconsin

They are sexist as well as narrow minded and totally inept. Now, do you want to know what I really think? :-) Sorry, , I have nothing helpful to offer re: your labs but I know others here will. ~see
