Guest guest Posted June 29, 2002 Report Share Posted June 29, 2002 I also agree with Irene & . The only people who know what my meds are, are my family (hubby, parents, & siblings). My mother also wants me to feel better and she has worked in the same nursing home for , what seems like forever, but she has seen how meds can mess up a person physically. Over medicating is a problem in nursing homes and in some hospitals, but for the most part the docs seem to know what they are doing for their patients. But anyway, mom was not happy with all the meds I was on, so I went off of them to show her what would happen if I was not on any meds. Well, needless to say she's ok with my meds. Mom has always been the kind of person (my sister also) who dosn't take anything unless they have too. Now after that babbling..... If someone asks about my meds., I tell them the meds I'm on does help me. I have a couple friends who know my meds and they are fine with it. They knew me before I started having all the problems and see me now. They are happy that I am feeling better. You all are the only other people I tell my meds to. Speaking of meds the zanaflex is wonderful and I'll have to see about the new med my cardiologist put me on. I just started it today. Well, I am going to be on vacation next week and the week after. I'll try to get on and check up on ya'll the week after the 4th. I'll be up at mom's all week. Kids are going to vacation bible school up there. Although her computer is ssooooooooo slow. I'm going to try to take my hubby's laptop. He won't be missing it for the week. He'll have my pc. What more could he ask for??
