Guest guest
Hi, fellow FM sufferers!!! My name is Kathy. I've suffered at least 4 long years with fibromyalgia, plus osteoarthritis. And really feeling a little frustrated lately. Would really love some pep talks. I am 50 years old. Live in southern Ohio. I was a nurse for approx. 15 years, until I could no longer cope. The pain, muscle weakness, fatigue and fog effected my work. I would really enjoy hearing from everyone. Thank you!!
Guest guest
Hi Kathy, Welcome, I am 54 and I have had this for several years, It is 3 am, I am lucky to get a few hrs of sleep then it seems I have to get up and rest before I can go back to sleep, I take zanaflex and pain meds, some days they work great and some days they don't do anything. I am keeping my 5 yr. old grandson this week and next I love him dearly but I hope it doesn't put me in a flare. I have been feeling better since the weather has warm up, I don't spend a lot of time out doors. Do you feel better in the summer? I think I hurt worse in the winter. I will be watching this winter to see if there is a difference. I keep thing written down on a floppy. I have been doing that since Feb. when I got my steroid shots.I hope you have a good day. We're a pretty friendly, helpful group. Darcy

Guest guest
Welcome Kathy to our group. It is a very nice group with some very nice people. Someone seems to know the answer to just about any questions that you might have so if you need information, ask away. The people on this list are very caring, loving and supportive. If you feel the need to vent, go right ahead. Most of us have done it at one time or another. I am sorry that you had to be with us because of your fibro but you couldn't find a better group to have a hand when needed. Take care, Irene Books may well be the only true magic Alice Hoffman
