Guest guest
Hello, I would like for you to read this for your information. On Memorial Day I was pruning some rose bushes, and they decided to attack me lol I had huge cuts on me, I went to my doctor and he said since it has been more than 10 years I needed a tetanus shot. Didn't really think much about it until later. So I was given the shot, and said go home and stay away from the rose bushes. About 5 minutes after shot I had a severe headache, I was still at the doctors they said just go home and lay down. But when I tried to get up, I was dizzy and my head was pounding, once again I was told to go home and rest. After I left the doctors offices all I remember is this ~ Got in car, saw a street sign that looked like I seen before then police lights. Then police called ambulance, At that time my head was pounding, I was very dizzy, and seeing double. When the ambulance got there they asked me some questions. What year is it? I said 2000 its 2002 What holiday is it? I said Easter, It was Memorial Day Who is the president? I said heck if I know it could be Reagan, Clinton or Bush Pick one. What is my name? Geeze I couldn't even tell them that. I don't remember any of this and still don't I was told by the doctors at the hospital and the policeman. My son and I figured out I was driving around not having a clue where or who I was for 3 hours. They said I had a bad reaction to the tetanus shot, the doctors at the hospital said he could have been because I have FMS. Don't ask me why he says this, but I have also heard others that have FMS and had the tetanus shot have the same problems as I did, that episode landed me in the hospital for 2 weeks. So now on my very large medical file it has I am allergic to the tetanus shot. I wanted to share this with you, so maybe I can warn others before it can happen to them. My doctor makes me sit in the waiting room for at least 15 minutes after an injection to see if there are any problems. Pamela is right in warning others and I think that you should mention this side effect to your doctor. I was lucky but others like Pamela might not be. Guest guest
Hi all Just this past Saturday I was eating a rice bowl and it was made by lean cusine and I had an allegeric reaction to it, first my ears started itching then my hands and feet, my hands turned real red and then I got so hoarse I couldn't talk, I thought my husband was going have to take me to the ER but I took some benadryl and in 30 minutes I was ok,I have never had this happen to me before, I sure did feel funny and I was scared. I am going to carry benadryl with me all the time. Audrey Tetanus shots and Fibro Hello, I would like for you to read this for your information. Guest guest
--You know what, your post made me think of something. I dont remember having such severe problems with fibro until I 1.- got a real bad flu about 7 years ago or 2. started getting the flu shot. I got the flu shot for about 3 years in a row and stopped due to talk about vaccinations and health problems. You know I didnt have endometriosis until after having the flu and flu shots? That is very scary about what happened to you. Its a miracle your alive. - In @y..., PJL83@a... wrote: > Hello, > I would like for you to read this for your information. > On Memorial Day I was pruning some rose bushes, and they decided to attack me > lol I had huge cuts on me, I went to my doctor and he said since it has been > more than 10 years I needed a tetanus shot.
