Rob,

I had two stints but in in the last month....Your pain might be having a cholangitis attack...I'd call your DR ASAP....(are you on an antibiotics?) because I had a minor attack with the first one (chills, hot sweaty fever with mild pain) and I didn't take any antibiotic's....With the 2nd stent same thing (longer lasting chills, hot sweaty fever with mild pain) and this time I called the Dr and he couldn't believe that I had left the med center without antibiotic's..he gave me CIPRO 500 mg and everything was fine!

At least get some pain pills....

Hang in there...

Peace and Prayers

Thanks DB that was good to see, I'm eager for optimismAlso has anyone else had stents placed and if so how did you deal with the pain. Mine is excruciating?

I’ve only had one stent, and it was removed at 2 weeks due to

excruciating pain. Mine was in my CBD, and they think it was blocking my

gallbladder duct. It feels the same as a gallbladder “attack” (I know, because

mine was removed six months later!).

I had stents and they never bothered me. I

am concerned that something is wrong with the placement of the stents. You

shouldn't be in pain from them.
