Guest guest
To back up what Janie says, I was on 15 mg of DHEA a day for a year. When I had a hormone panel done, I was shocked to see that my already high estrogen had gove significantly higher and my DHEA levels were off the charts or about double the top end of the range. I think like any hormone, DHEA should be used with care. Taking too much is like being on HRT. Tish

Guest guest
Janie, I suppose you have to have a prescription for the compounded gel? Sounds interesting. thanks, Robin Robin--adrenals Robin, I don't claim to be an expert on this, but I have heard that women shouldn't dose themselves with too high of DHEA. Some even think what you are on is high. But 25 mg. sounds fine for now, to me. I do 5 mg. daily via a compounded gel. You do lose some of that 25 mgs. due to swallowing.
