Just a note to update everyone on the status of Bob. He is back in the hospital. His Kidneys are failing yet he is not on dialysis. His doctor's are hoping for a transplant by the end of the week. His MELD score is a 29 and he was wheeled to the OR as a standby yesterday. He continues to wait. Bob is in great spirits even for a guy feeling as sick as he does. We actually had a few laughs (at his expense) and would have continued our conversation if not for the many nurse and doctor interruptions. Bob knows he's not coming out of the hospital without a transplant. His hope is that he does not need a kidney transplant too. Unfortunately this has been mentioned by some of the doctors. Bob is at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. His Mother and Brother are with him. Please keep Bob in mind as you go through your week.
