Guest guest
Hi , I'm so glad you are doing good. Why did Deanna have surgery on her throat? I don't understand. Gosh, Deanna is so young for a pacemaker.....she must be very scared. Is she getting the oxygen she needs? Poor Deanna.....she's been through way to much. Speaking of oxygen......Mac is undergoing hyperbaric therapy twice a day now. Our insurance doesn't cover the cost, which is very high, but after our doctor told our story to Dr. Zant, who does the therapy, he decided he would do it for free. We are fighting hard to save Mac's foot but things aren't going to well. Needless to say, we are all very scared. We are doing IV therapy around the clock trying to fight the infections. Mac has e-coli and eudemons (sp?) bacteria that was apparently introduced into the wound in the operating room the day of the initial surgery and then the so called doctor refused to treat the infection until it was to late. Mac has undergone six surgeries so far. Hopefully that's all. This nightmare just seems to keep getting worse.....I need things to go back to normal but I don't think they ever will. I'm hanging in there. Tell Deanna I am thinking of her and you keep on the road to recovery too. Carol
