Guest guest
Hi Crystal! I'm sorry you've been so sick. I'm not an expert by any means and I don't know your background...but the first thing I thought of when reading your symptoms is s. What have you been previously dx'd with? How long and why have you been taking HC? My humble opinion is that you should check this out with a doctor as soon as possible. I wish you the best and please keep us posted, > > Hey all, > > I've had my 4th episode in 3 weeks of throwing up/diarrhea and > wondered if it could be thyroid or adrenal related. > > About 3 wks ago I was real sick. Guest guest
, Thanks so much for replying. I'd appreciate anyone's advice- as I think there's more experience here than at the MDs office. I'd like to go to the doctor with some idea what's wrong with me. Do you think the throwing up/diarrhea espisodes could be 's? My mother suggested Hypoglycemea. It doesn't feel like a virus- more like a digestive, pancreas, or something going on from the inside. When I said I lost 15 # last week... that's a lot considering I'm not overweight. Tues from 116.5 to 110.5 pounds. Then Friday from 114.5 to 111.5 pounds. I gain it back, but loose a lot when I'm sick. Background: Been UNdiagnosed since 1990 (birth of 2nd born). Found a few supplements to help. Then I crashed last summer and someone directed me to check into hypothyroidism and I found a doctor that would prescribe Armour. Started it last August. Felt better than I had in YEARS! Up to 3 grains a day. Tried 3.5 and 4 grains but that makes my heart pound. Upon checking, I (not doctor prescribed) decided that I have more adrenal problems than thyroid. In Oct my saliva test showed .3 (flat line practically) in AM and about 1.3 (extremely low at midnight). Sorry, don't have the norms in front of me. Since November, I've been taking up to 20 mg of hydocortisone.... recently backed down to 15 mg/day. I have been under major undue stress recently (instead of resting I decided to go to school 3 nights a week fr 6-10pm). I was doing so well. If this is 's... does it make sense that I overloaded my system which causes me to be so sick? Appreciate ANY insight..... So glad you're here! Guest guest
I think you should go get this checked out. It doesn't seem that much like thyroid and adrenal to me. Adrenal problems can make you sick and make you throw up, but diarhea doesn't usually go with it. Tish
