I continue to amaze myself that I can take as much Armour as I can without major adrenal problems. I know I was seriously hypo for 10 years, and even before that had hypo problems. What I wonder sometimes if because of my intestinal issues, I'm not absorbing much Armour. gosh...who knows sometimes? I am going to redo adrenal testing. When I just did Am and Pm though, I was excess cortisol. Cindi

Guest guest
cindi, I used to get that kind of internal shaking too and I decided that it was adrenal. I dropped my armour right down to 1 grain to let the pred do some adrenal healing, then I slowly raised my armour again. This time I raised by only a quarter grain at a time. I think I raised too fast last time. Anyway I haven't had that trembling feeling since. Lynda (in the UK) Re: Adreanl issues cropping up? i'd like to know about that shaking too. Guest guest
oh, I had forgotten about the itchy, ringing ears. I had that too, at the same time as the trembling. Lynda (in the UK) Re: Adreanl issues cropping up? I am thinking that it is adrenal, and I am having such bad joint/muscle pain again, the kind that I get when I need to increase, that I have decided to do a week of Isocort to help me over the hump, so to speak. I have been having ringing itching ears again too, in a bad way. Kerry

Guest guest
Gosh, it must be going around. Just this week I had a relapse of this, the first since getting cortef last summer. Same old stuff, shaking, nervous, thinking I was going to die, the kids were going to grow up without me, etc. I took 40 mg of cortef yesterday, and it seemed to help. I was trying to wean off the cortef, but I guess that isn't going to happen yet. As a guy, I have a note from my doctor excusing me from being in touch with my feelings, but I have probably been stressing over the last couple weeks or so. We're going to the mountains next week for spring break: a. to ski for 5 days straight (fun, but it makes me tired just thinking about it) b. with my wife's parents, and her sister & family c. with annoying cousins who were, apparently, raised by wolves d. with no internet At least the place has a hot tub. Anyway, I've been looking forward to this trip with that peculiar mixture of anticipation and dread that I probably don't have to explain to anyone here. So, have you been stressing over anything lately? I'm starting to think that maybe the stress sneaks up on you, and then all the sudden you're a human tuning fork and you can't figure out why. And I would say yes, it's almost certainly adrenals. From what people have explained here, it seems that low adrenals will have symptoms similar to too much thyroid. -- prr nc2406@... wrote: In a message dated 3/24/2005 11:05:31 AM Eastern Standard Time, klb58@... writes: > .
