Generic Armour?

My doc upped me to 120mg of Armour twice a day. When I went to the

pharmacy to pick up my perscription they told me they had to switch

me to the generic of Armour. I asked if it was natural and the same

ingrediants. They said it was. My persciption says Thyroid Tab

120MG, Manufactor is Qualitest.

Does anyone know if this is true Armour or a natural substitute?

I do believe that taking it twice a day has helped with my crashing

in the evening. That is if I remember to take it. I forget to take

it but I'm usually withing a 4 hour window of the same time

everyday. When I start getting real tired, I know I've missed my

dose.

Also I see a lot of posts that mention their meds in grains. What

is that? Mine is 240mg a day. Also I'm curious as to how much

Armour people take a day. I understand everyone is different but I

guess I am just wondering if what I take is about average or if I am

getting close to the maximum that they will perscibe. I guess I do

feel better than before taking Armour. I still feel like

I'm " coming down " with something most days but I think my energy has

increased a little. I have lost a few pounds in the last couple of

months, when I was gaining so much even though I diet and exercise.

My memory seems to be pretty good on some days but then there are

many days that I can't remember something someone said 5 minutes

ago! (My husband says that is selective memory! LOL!) There are so

many more symptoms but these are my main concerns.

Thanks for your help.
