Guest guest
I was given by my naturopath adrenal and liver detox drops to take together with thyroid meds, although I was still on levythroxine. My TSH had just dropped from 6.4 to 3.2 in 3 wks and I started the drops. He also gave me mineral powder as well. Within 2 weeks I was feeling and looking terrible and I retested and my TSH had climbed again to 6.8. I immediately stopped the supplements and increased the levythroxine and 2 weeks later the TSH had dropped to 3 again. It could have been the slightly increased dosage of levythroxine but I thought as well that the supplements were interfering with the meds. All I know is that my TSH has dropped to 2.16 but I still don't feel or look good. I am considering switching to armour or a glandular thyroid. --- " L.
