Guest guest
Laurie, You made me smile with your thanking God for his son Jesus. Your description of your mountain top sky made me know you meant it. You sounded sincere and heartfelt. I want to send you some blessings and warm regards. I'm happy you have noted a marked improvement in Kelley. I have seen your posts before. Keep going one day at a time. in MO. son, Nick(9) liver disease1/09 Subject: Laurie and Kelley To: Date: Wednesday, April 8, 2009, 9:59 PM Sorry for not posting more...we are in Kelley's third week post TX and just today I have seen some improvement with his pain. The staples come out soon and he will be able to move around better. But for now he takeshydromorphone and this keeps him very sleepy. He says it is not the "brain fog" he had with his bad liver. The TX surgeon said Kelley's old liver was like a bundle of tough sand paper, gritty and hard. Because Kelley's general health was so bad, it is going to take awhileto get better. His blood sugars are giving us a fit and the doctors are trying to get his Prograf dosage just right. My dining table is cluttered with bills and manuals and drugs and sometimes food. We thank all of you for your prayers.Tonight the Moon is bright and the stars are flickering and our mountain top sky is so very clear. With Easter this weekend, I Praise God for his Son, Jesus Christ. (we are old time southern Baptist)Thank you all again.Laurie
