Guest guest
My thumb is obvious, and my pointer and middle finger also have moons. But I believe I could see the same even when on crappy Synthroid. Janie, on optimal dose. > This question is for anyone on this list who's taking close to optimum thyroid supplementation. Guest guest
The moons are visible on all my fingers now but are still quite small on my left hand. *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat? Guest guest
Are you supposed to have moons on your fingernails? I've noticed that my husband has them but I don't? What does that mean? -Anne > This question is for anyone on this list who's taking close to optimum thyroid supplementation. Guest guest
I have the barest hint of one on my right thumb. Nada on the rest of the fingers. I've only been on Armour since January, and while I think I'm pretty close to my optimal dose, I've only been on it for 10 days. Cheers, Friday > This question is for anyone on this list who's taking close to optimum thyroid supplementation. Guest guest
I have always had nice big moons. Are lack of moons supposed to be a hypo symptom? ~Inga on 3/26/05 1:55 AM, at artisticgroomer@... wrote: The moons are visible on all my fingers now but are still quite small on my left hand. *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat? Guest guest
Yes, that's what I've read numerous places. After reading people's answers, I'm not sure it's a very reliable symptom. Ridges are quite common as well. I have both ridges and only moons on my thumbs. __________________________________________________
