As a PSC'r and Crohn's sufferer, I usually just scan the conversations which I

get so much from and this is my first contribution. I just wanted to make a

comment about taking someone off life support when they have been declared brain

dead. I am a Christian and I just want to say there is nothing in the Bible

about organ donation or  taking someone off life support. We must exercise the

principles that are laid out in the Scriptures and apply them with love and

intelligence. If we do this, then we have the person's best interests at heart

and then the decision to allow a person to slip away when they are brain dead is

the most loving and humane.

Just my thoughts, if it helps.

Joan
