Guest guest Posted August 24, 2002 Report Share Posted August 24, 2002 HI all, Well tonight a major flare up has hit so I am in tons of pain. I probably will be kind of quiet for a while. I am so tired. I am wondering if my fibro is in tune with my bipolar. I was feeling great for a few days (probably on a bipolar high) and now I am coming off it only to discover a fibro flare up has hit hard. Tonight I had to have my ex come over and watch the kids so I could lay down. When I woke up I had the pain. It has been fall like weather here and I suppose AF is coming on or around the 1st so it could be any thing. But let me just point out I haven't had a bad pain day like this since spring maybe even last summer (I always have it worse in the spring and summer). Sure I get bad pain days but on a scale of 1-10 it's about 9 maybe 9 1/2 lol. So it's a major one. My pain isn't this bad usually, maybe a 6 or less on the average day. It's like my body can't handle the extra stress of being even more ill, so it sets off my fibro as a protest. I see that you have three small kids. I'm so in awe of those who are raising kids while they have fibro/cfs. I find it hard with just cats sometimes, and they're a lot easier than kids!
