I am convinced of this, as I did not have fibro until after my brain surgery.

I had the whole back portion of my skull removed and woke up like THIS!

SURPRISE! Although I do believe that more people are genetically bound to

have fibro.

I believe that this is my case, because I have never had any surgeries...or

car wrecks (knock on wood) , but like the doctor said me being raped at such

an important time in my life (16) that is what probably done it for me.

My mother, and 2 aunts (her sisters) have Fibromyalgia the one aunt also has

lupus, just had a major heart surgery at Mayo Clinic and just went back this

week, because her heart is loosing the rhythum.

Then on my fathers side...I had an uncle die of Lupus, and my grandmother has

Osteoarthritis bless her heart...she use to knit and crochette, but her

fingers are sooo swollen up and ache her all the time she had to quit sowing.

So thats the low down on gentics in my family..lol

Lupus is big in our family too. I am supposed to be monitored for it every

3 mo but my rheumotologist has been gone since 2/01 so i need to find a new
