Guest guest
You should be able to take up to 20 mg of cortisol (8 Isocorts) a day for a week without becoming dependent (not that I'm suggesting that's how much you *should* take). Up to that 1 week point, you can quit cold turkey. After a week, you should taper off slowly. During that week, you can see if it helps or not. I knew within a day the Cortef was helping, but I don't know if it works that fast for everyone. As far as how much to take, I'm as much in the dark as everyone else. I also don't know about the alternate day thing. Anyone tried this? Oh, and if you decide to crawl under a rock, watch out for pharmaceutical companies slithering out from under it. :-) -- prr Kerry klb58@... wrote: So, I am guessing I should try the one day on, one day off with Isocort so as not to become dependant, which is what Trish suggested? Or would it be better if I did a full week on then a full week off until the inflammation and cracking go away? I really feel like stopping everything, crawling under a rock and crying. *sigh* Kerry
