Wow – for several years my normal has been 97.2 or 97.4. Every

time I mention that to a dr or nurse they just shrug. Is low body temp part of

the profile?

It might be, my son's temp is always 97 or under.I had asked once before how body temperature might effect the disease.Could a lower body temp lower the immune system so that it doesn't work right? If the body temp is too low, does it allow the wrong bacteria to grow?LeeWow – for several years my normal has been 97.2 or 97.4. I’ve been running 99.4-100.1 all day – up and down. I feel

crummy but if I went to the hospital I know that they wouldn’t take me

seriously. Not sure what to do. My normal is 97.4, so I definitely have a

fever. I dunno – maybe I should call my hepatologist, but my regular dr is on maternity

leave and the woman who is filling in for her doesn’t know me at all.

This

is very interesting........I too have always had a low body Temp......usually

97.6 and when I tell Drs. about this they don't say a thing.....I know when I

have a 99 temp. I am really sick.....lately I've been running between

97.9 and 99.6 and on the 99.6 days I really don't feel well.......I can have

99.6 in the early part of the day and at night be 98.6 or under.....can't

understand what is going on so this was very interesting to me...

That’s a thought… Right now fever is dropping again.
