Guest guest
A marine mom sent this to me. I have had the empty chair at my table many, many times during the times my daughter and son in law have been in the military...So please, so not forget the miltary on these holidays...chippy My Friends.. We are about to celebrate our Nations Independence on July 4th, I am writing because many many Military families across the Nation will be without a loved one on this, another Holiday..weather you believe in the war or not, I am asking you and your families say a prayer for all the families, and men and women who can not be with each other again. Most people don't know that each holiday that goes by there is an empty chair...an empty heart, and a not quite complete family..our men and women serving overseas miss holidays with their families, and the day to day " normal " celebrations each family has.. I would be remiss if I didn't add that each and every man and woman, and family member is proud of what their , dad, son, brother, uncle, grandchild, husband, boyfriend, mother, daughter, sister, wife, grand daughter, girlfriend, is doing..but that doesn't stop them from noticing they are once again absent..when you gather for your celebration, please take a moment and remember those that gave their lives, and those who are proudly serving..they believe in what they are doing, and we believe in them thank you for listening A Proud Marine Mom
