Hi Jen,

I'm on a beta blocker that slows my heart rate down. But, the

current dosage just isn't cutting it. The problem is, it also lowers

your blood pressure. So, I can't take too much!

My heart feels like it's thudding too. Almost like it's beating too

hard. Or skipping a beat. This could be a medication side effect.

So, maybe I'll be starting something new today when I go to the

doctor.

I hate this feeling. It keeps me from working out and when I don't

work out, I feel worse.

thanks for your reply. Hope you're having a good day.

How did the doctor appointment go? Did they change your meds or have any

answers for you? Hope all went well and hope you get to feeling better.

Go get your new med! It was the combination of a calcium channeler and an

ace inhibitor that did it for me. They tested me for everything else under

the sun until I insisted it was the heart and that I needed more meds. It

worked like a charm and almost instantly. I feel so much more than me, well

the me that has FM.

Isn't Inderal an old med? If it doesn't work, ask to try a newer one. I

tried all of them till we hit on the calcium channeler which helped a long

time, then we had to add the ace inhibitor.

I forgot to add that I am on inderal. I take 80mg 2x's a day. I am another

med, but I don't know the name. I keep forgetting to go pick it up. It's a new

med my cardiologist put me on. We'll see. Take care.
