I'm so sorry you feel so awful. You must definitely find another

doctor. And I think(just my opinion), that you will have to ask for a

painkiller. if it is on your chart that you are a drug seeker, what

more could it hurt? And maybe it's not, and maybe the new doctor will

see that you aren't functioning from the pain, and will give you

something. I'm only supposed to be on daily Codeine until my flare

subsides, but so far, it isn't. Between the steroid shot, and the

Codeien three times a day, I'm almost totally pain free, but what

about when the steroid wears off, or when i need more codeine(I

deliberately make myself go a few days without between RX's, just so

that I won't become addicted, or dependent. Probably silly of me to

willinglyt subject myself to pain, but I think I should). One day

soon, my doctor will surely bring this up. But for now, I'm pretty

much pain free. And just having the pain gone, I have so much more

energy, and so much more desire to do things. I'm careful not to

overdo it, but I feel like I have my life back finally. Please, ask

for some pain meds. All the doctor can do is say no. Take care. I
