Guest guest
Sue, when you wake up in the morning, right before you are going to rise, take your temp with a mercury thermometer. You are looking for a temp about 97.8 to 98.2. Avoid this test around ovulation, or when you know your temp is higher due to female hormones. And as far as evidence, tell him that you are a member of a large group where Armour has turned the lives around of these members tenfold. Also check out the FILES section. Guest guest
What if it's consistently below 97.8 - this is a 'good' sign of being hypot? > > Sue, when you wake up in the morning, right before you are going to > rise, take your temp with a mercury thermometer. Guest guest
This morning when I took my temp it was in the 96 area.. is that possible? Does anyone use an ear digital thermomitor? thanks, Robin Re: temperature taking My suggestion would be to take your temp before you get out of bed and do any moving. LOL if you can wait!!! And then to do it every three hours for three more times throughout the day and you will have a good range of temps to give you a real good idea of what is going on. asks the you take your temp 3 hours after arising and then two more times three hours apart. These temps are to be taken at precisely the same time per day. I have all of his literature, including the literature for an interested doctor. He has joined up with a physician who has studied herbal remedies and so you can treat yourself that way, but the prescription he gives out is for a timed release T3 that you can only get from compounding pharmacies. Where the problem comes in there . . . sometimes they are not good at mixing the ingredients. He has one pharmacy that he talks about and trusts to mix properly that will mail order the prescription to you. If you are not getting good results with the pharmacy in your area, then you might chose to go to this one that has a good track record. BUT . . . since finding this list I would be more confident in taking Armour as I feel like nourishes like, and a balanced input should mean a balanced output! I have tried some of the herbals. The Healthy Foundation liguid herbal preparation seems to be good, but it alone didn't do much for thyroid symptoms. I don't believe it was meant too. We still have some Thyrocare left, and since we didn't follow the recommendations to a T I cannot say yea or nay about it. Guest guest
Yup, I'm one coooooool customer, alright. Yup. I had the flu the last couple of weeks, and I had a horrible fever, to almost 99! I was so hot, I was ready to start using the meat thermometer. :-) -- prr " loboshe " usns@... wrote: > I run in the 95.5-96.5 range all the time, with brief excursions >into the 94's, so this is probably a pretty accurate temp for you. , that just blows me away. Guest guest
Yes, it sure is, unfortunately. I've had in the 95's during the day...since being on Armour, it usually runs somewhere in the 97's, with occasional excursions back into the 96's. I need to up my dose a bit but my ferritin is still quite low and I have difficulties with that. I use a glass oral thermometer. , Wisconsin Re: temperature taking This morning when I took my temp it was in the 96 area.. is that possible? Guest guest
Hey, now that's *chilly*! I think we have a new Thyro Scout merit badge, awarded to anyone who can get a thermometer below 95. I don't know what the badge would look like. Maybe a penguin trapped in a block of ice. You win, BTW, my all time record is 94.3, and that was in the morning, not during the day. I bow before your superior coolness. :-) -- prr P.S. I just realized you said that was the *average*! So at least one of the individual readings was less than that? Wow.
