Guest guest
Hi Inga, 's Therapy in nothing more than treating the thyroid with herbs. I was on their Thyrocare, Adaptogen Plus, and the T3 meds. It did work well for me. I felt better than I had felt in a very long time. Unfortunately my insurance wouldn't pay for the meds and it was just too expensive, so I asked my doc to put me on Armour instead. When he put me on the Armour he dropped my Adaptogen Plus, which is the 's adrenal support. I've been on 1/2 grain of the Armour for 30 days, and 1 grain for a week. (I'm waiting as I type this for them to send me my labs.) I'm not feeling well again, and my temps, which were steadily coming up while on the 's Therapy, are now way down again. I'm VERY medication resistant so I'm thinking until I get my Armour dose way up things are going to go down hill for a while. My Rx bottle says 3 refills for a 60mg dose. NOT! I'm also going to call the office in a bit and ask if he will put me back on the Adaptogen Plus as I felt so much better when I was on it. It's seemingly a " safe " form of adrenal support that's non addictive. I also tested high for metals on all the saliva tests they've done. Duh....I have a mouth full of fillings..... He wants me to start oral chelating. Haven't done the labs yet for the specific metals but after reading all your posts I'm betting mercury will be high on the list..... I hope this helps. If you have any more questions please ask away. Guest guest
So the therapy is only herbs no animal derived hormones? Also how much was the medication in the therapy? Have you tried cortef before? Subject: Re: FW: (NaturalThyroidHormones) *FW:Welcome and Free Thyroid Report Hi Inga, 's Therapy in nothing more than treating the thyroid with herbs. Guest guest
I didn't find anything animal derived. Just herbs. If you're referring to the adrenal support, Adaptogen it's not too bad. My doc charges $31.00 a bottle for 75 capsule bottle. He had me taking 3 times a day so it lasted 25 days. It's the T3 therapy that's so expensive. It was costing me $150.00 a month @ 120mcgs. I didn't want to know what 190mcgs were going to cost...lol So I asked him to put me on Armour. The Adaptogen has : Codonopsis root 100 mg , Devil's Club bark 50 mg, Astragalus root 100 mg, Fo-ti herb 100 mg, Wild Yam root 100 mg, Siberian Ginseng root 50 mg, Ashwaghanda root 150 mg. I've not tried the cortef. I'm scared of steroids. I had to take high doses if prednisone as a teenager and I didn't handle it well, so I'm chicken to try the cortef. Like I said, I was feeling WONDERFUL on the 's Therapy! If my insurance would pay for it I'd still be on the whole program. I'm very drug resistant, so I was impressed that it worked for me as fast as it did. Are taking cortif now? Becky > So the therapy is only herbs no animal derived hormones?
