Canadian US Comparrison Question

Hi...

I've been with the group for about 3 weeks now. I'm finding that things are

really done up here than down there. I don't have the problems with seeing

doctors - I'm covered through OHIP which is the insurance company for anyone

who lives and works in Ontario. I also notice that the medications that I

have prescribed for my Fibro is completely different than the medications

prescribed for the suffers in the US.

A List Of Meds From Canada

The only drug I see that is the same is Elivale or something close to that

spelling. But we refer to it as Amitripytline. A great one if you wanted

to gain weight.

Efexor. - I was on that one for 2 years before one of my special " doctors

told me that he had one patient that gained 80 pounds the first 3 months

that she was on it. I wish that I had of known that from the start, I

defiantly would have not gone on it then.

Nozinan - helps me goto sleep

Vioxx - anti-inflammatory med

Previcid - to help with stomach acid from all the other meds that have

rotted it out.

Ginger ale - to help with the rotted stomach (water makes it worse)

What do you guys take for any of the above symptoms?
