(March 25) - As the loved ones of Natasha continue to mourn, a family

decision made in the wake of the Tony-winning actress's sudden death March 18

has brought a measure of comfort: After was taken off life support at

Manhattan's Lenox Hill Hospital, her family requested that her organs be donated

to other patients whose lives they might save.

Nastasha lives on....My prayers to her and her loves one..THEY are HEROS!

Great!I wrote a note to a friend who had asked how my daughter was doing - I hadn't yet told him the diagnosis. His wife died two years ago in a scuba diving accident and he donated her organs. I told him about my daughter's likely prospects, and thanked him for his and his wife's gifts to lots of people just like my daughter. I've always supported organ donation - my drivers' license has carried the organ donor "bug" for years, and all my family knows what I want done - but my daughter's diagnosis makes it a lit more personal.
