Hi Margaret,

So I'm not the only person who sees and hears things when falling asleep? Like

I'm dreaming, but I'm still awake. I've done it off and on for years, but did it

especially bad when I was taking Serzone.

I talked to all of my doctors about it. My shrink said it's nothing to worry

about at all. She's said it's called " Hypnogoic Halleucinations " if it's while

you're falling asleep and " Hypnopomic Halleucinations " if it's while you're

waking up. I'd be interested in hearing all you know about the subject, on or

off list.

I talked to the Sleep Disorders doctor about it and he wouldn't discuss it, or

anything else with me after he found that I sleep all day and stay up all night.

He said that was my only problem. He also told me that there is no such thing as

Fibro, so what does he know?

About the sudden muscle weakness when laughing, or feeling strong emotions...I

don't have this, but my ex-brother in law and a lady I know on another Fibro

group have it. It's called Cataplexy. A Neurologist/Sleep Disorders Specialist

is who treats that.
