Guest guest
I've tried different multivitamins and so far the one that works best for me is Stuart's Prenatal vitamins. I take two a day and can really feel the difference. emugirls emugirls@...> wrote: Starting to compare multi-vitamins & am interested in hearing what others have found - favorite one? why? best places to purchase supplements? one's to avoid & why? Guest guest
I take Nature's Plus Ultra Source of Life w/ whole foods, herbs, enzymes and more. I get these vitamins from Mother Earth Health Food Store. It is very important to get vitamins that are from food sources. I also take Nordic Naturals Artic Cod Liver Oil which is a pharmaceutical grade. Both are approved/recommended by my Dr. Kathy Recommended multi-vitamin? Guest guest
There is a group who has done comparisons on multi-vitamins and minerals. Go to http://www.comparativeguide.com The company that comes out on top is Usana. I was surprised at the quality and scope of their Essentials Package. But with that said what I have been taking for years are the Creative Nutrition Canada supplements that area also very good. On the comparison chart they rated 50% of optimum. Other companies had dismal outcomes in comparison. Companies like Shaklee, Swiss and other brand names. http://www.cncvitamost.com/ I am a member, if you need a referral to this one. The following URL tells more about how they arrived at the criteria for what should be included in supplements. http://www.comparativeguide.com/guides/adultguide.html And no I am not a Usana distributor, although I have thought about joining and purchasing their supplements. A friend gave me a months supply, an essentials pack, and I was quite pleased with them. If you would like more information, I do have a friend who is in the business, and would be more then happy to answer any questions you might have. I took them based on the advice of a friend of mine and on the information contained in the book above. They are definitely better quality and have greater bioavailability than any other brand I could find. I became so impressed with them, that I finally did become involved with the company -so I will not say any more about them on this forum unless someone wants me too - but I am available off line. Guest guest
> > Starting to compare multi-vitamins & am interested in hearing what > others have found - favorite one? why? I have had great results with YourVitamins. The Multi is an ultra fine powder in a capsule with absolutely no fillers or additives. No tummy upset with them. Their supplements like Omega3 & VitaminE which are not stable and can oxidize in conventional packaging are in a liquid gel-like capsule that has had nitogen infused in it to keep them stable. Here are their websites if you want to check them out. They are also available on HSN YourVitamins.com or Procapslab.com
