Fibrohugs Everyone!

This group has been so helpful to me...sifting out the possible from

the not-so-possible answers to my fibro delima. This has been quite

a roller coaster ride, but I'm beginning to regain my confidence. I

first wrote about being worried about going on a cruise last June.

Being away from home and doctors really scared me. Everything turned

out great. I didn't have any trouble beyond the usual, although my

boyfriend and I wound up with minor whiplashes from a tour bus on St.

!

My chiropractor is testing seven bottles of nutrients called

Fibrofree from a company called 4Life using me as his guinea pig. I

agreed to quit taking Zanafelx, Motrin and Sonota for one month to

see if there is any significant improvement with the pain, stiffness,

etc. So far, the night time formula has been the greatest of

all...I'm sleeping through the night again!

Last Friday I wound up running around all day...thought I would crash

the next day and to my amazement, I was OK. For the first time in

probably six months, I've kept active every day for five days running

now. Can't say that I don't hurt, but I'm working through the pain

and not getting exhausted or sick.

Please, I'd like to know if anyone else is getting any positive

results using nutritional supplements. And is anyone taking this

product? I'm keen on getting away from traditional medication as I

have such a bad reaction to most of them.

Thanks to everyone who posts here. You've all encouraged and

enlightened me more than you know.

Love, LJ

I have taken 4Life products off and on through the years. Unfortunately I never

am able to afford to take any supplemenets as directed because of the cost.

It's so annoying that we have to choose between taking supplements or eating!

I do take a lot of supplements when I can. What I do is pick up anything that

is on sale that I have read about and think might be helpful. I figure that

most things can't hurt. Because of the cost I go through spells where I get so

tired of arguing with my husband about money in general, and I get tired of

never having any left, so I will decide not to take supplements anymore. I am

just starting to take them again after swearing off of them a few months ago.

Something I am taking must be helping some because I am feeling more awake in

the mornings. For awhile I didn't want to get out of bed. I had to because I

am in too much pain to stay in bed, but I was starting the day very sleepy. The

last few days I am at least waking up raring and ready to go. Now as soon as I

start watering my garden I don't feel so energetic LOL! I live in California.

Water is very expensive, so I water every plant by hand rather than using a

sprinkler. It takes me 3-4 hours per day to maintain my garden because it's

huge. I am so excited though. In the last few months I have lost 10 pounds,

and the garden is just starting to produce. I am so hoping that all these fresh

veggies will help the Fibro. :)

Right now I am taking echinacea, vitamin c powder, golden seal, a phyto

nutrient/enzyme formula that comes from 45 veggies and fruits, ginko biloba, a

joint complex, an imune complex, an antioxidant formula, and an omega 3 acid

formula. I am taking one each 3 times per day until I run out of these and then

will go and buy out the sale items all over town again LOL!

I am always careful to take breaks from time to time so that my liver

doesn't get too much stuff stored up in it. I always feel better when I am

taking the stuff. I guess I am just going to have to budget better and stay on

the vitamins and herbs :) I am hoping to be able to come up with a way to get

some of the herbs listed for Fibro in the book I am reading, but I haven't even

heard of most of them.
